Last updated: May 2025

Welcome to Solent Pharmacy. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and facilities. By accessing or using our services, whether NHS or private, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

PHARMHT LTD T/A Solent Pharmacy
Address: 9 St James Road, Southampton, Hampshire, SO15 5FB
Telephone: 02381 229024
Website: https://solentpharmacy.co.uk

Solent Pharmacy is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and provides both NHS and private healthcare services to the community.

2. Scope of Services

We offer NHS dispensing services, private consultations, travel health, vaccinations, minor ailment support, NHS Pharmacy First services, NHS 111 urgent medicine supply upon referral, paid medication delivery services, and MDS blister pack services where eligibility applies.

Patients are responsible for requesting their own prescriptions from their GP surgery. We do not guarantee medication availability at all times due to stock limitations.

3. NHS 111 Urgent Medicine Supply

Patients may be eligible to receive an emergency supply of medicine if referred directly to Solent Pharmacy by NHS 111 by telephone or online. Standard NHS prescription charges apply unless you are exempt. The Responsible Pharmacist will assess each request on a case-by-case basis and there is no automatic entitlement to a supply.

4. Medication Delivery Service

We offer a paid local delivery service within the SO15 postcode area. Delivery slots are subject to daily staffing and logistical capacity. Same-day delivery or specific times cannot be guaranteed. Delivery charges apply and pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking.

5. Appointments, Deposits, Cancellations, and Refunds

For private services that require appointments, a deposit may be required at the time of booking. If you cancel more than two full working days before the appointment, you may be eligible for a refund of the deposit. If you cancel within 24 hours of the appointment time, the deposit is non-refundable. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7-10 working days.

6. MDS Blister Pack Services

We provide MDS blister pack services for patients who meet specific NHS or private service eligibility criteria. This may include complex medication regimens, compliance needs, limited dexterity, or cognitive impairment verified by a healthcare professional. MDS services are capacity-limited and acceptance is not automatic.

7. Data Protection and GDPR Compliance

Solent Pharmacy complies with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your personal data is collected only for delivering healthcare services, processing prescriptions, managing appointments, and meeting legal obligations. We will never sell or distribute your personal data without consent unless required by law.

8. Pharmacy First Services

We offer the NHS Pharmacy First service, enabling patients to receive treatment for minor illnesses without seeing a GP. Services are provided following a pharmacist’s clinical assessment and are subject to NHS England guidelines.

9. Liability Disclaimer

Solent Pharmacy makes every reasonable effort to ensure information provided on our website, in our premises, or by our staff is accurate and up to date. We are not liable for loss, injury, or damages arising from use of our services or reliance on information provided, except where caused by our negligence.
